2011 Team Opportunities

 2011 opportunities include construction projects,teachers needed for art, music, and English, vacation Bible schools helpers,

 sports camp,and short-term missionary opportunities in education, english as a second language, and french speaking teachers.

       When?..........................................January 8th to February 26th; Go for 1 week or 2 weeks.

       What will it cost?............................Approximately $995.00 per person 

       What skills are required?..................None, we have jobs & tools for every skill level; but we can use

                                                             block mason skills are very helpful.

       Will I need a Passport.....................Yes.

 We currently need eighteen (18) more homes to be built for Hosanna Baptist families. Could you organize a group and raise the funds

 to construct at least one house.  The materials are available and the need is great!!  See the opotions below for the opportunities.

Project "Earthquake Cottages"

MFH has begun our rebuilding program. We will go as far as we can with the funds you have given.  Thank you for the sacrifices you have made and continue to make.  God is using you to make this possible.  The prices on building materials have gone up, so please pray that much will be accomplished. 

Option #1

We need churches that would be willing to send a team of at least 6 men with $4,000.00 to build a cottage for a Hosanna church family who lost their home to the earthquake.  Six men can build a 12' x 25' cinderblock home with a metal roof in five to six days.

Option #2

Challenge your church to raise $4,000.00 for the materials to build a 12' X 25' cottage.  This includes a concrete floor, doors, windows and a porch.

 Option # 3

Would you consider pledging a monthly gift toward building a cottage over the next 24 months?  $166.00 per month will provide a safe cottage for a family who is living in a tent.  We will qualify the family under the supervision of the church committee so you can be assured that your investment is protected.

 Option # 4

Simply send a gift marked "Project Earthquake Cottage" (any amount) and we will build a cottage every time we accumulate $4,000.00.
